Note: The TL-2 effluent sampling/collection unit and vertical (green) sampling port as shown in the above pictures was installed as part of Virginia's first Eljen GSF pad installation. The TL-2 sampling/collection unit allows for the sampling of treated effluent to comply with Virginia's new sampling/testing requirements for all alternative treatment systems. Since this initial installation, Eljen now recommends that the vertical (green) sampling port be located a minimum of two feet outside the pad or trench installation. |
